Consultation
If you are not certain where to begin and would like a consultation specific to your property. We will explore your existing soil and plantings, requirements, goals, and vision. The rate is $100 per hour within 30 miles, and a mileage charge is added for longer distances.
Design
If you choose to work with Above the Briery for Design and/or Implementation services, the consultation fee will refunded or used towards your project when signing a contract for additional design and implementation services.
The design process consists of choosing and sourcing a selection of plant materials appropriate for your project and laying out the plants for planting. Formal printable designs are not provided. The best months to establish a new garden in our area are usually March-May and late September - early November depending on plant materials.
The design contract requires a nonrefundable 50% deposit for the plant materials. The initiation of plant ordering and scheduling begins only after the deposit is received.
Implementation & Follow-up
Includes mulching, planting, and a watering-in of the project area. Two follow-up visits are included to advise on maintenance issues and to fill in areas as needed.
